Last Thursday, we turned the lens on the highly anticipated Linen Bay™ Cotton Range, capturing the beauty of both Percale and Sateen weaves across a harmonious palette of six colours. From whisper-soft neutrals to deeper, grounding tones, each shade was carefully styled to reflect the versatility of modern bedrooms, elegant, understated, and unmistakably inviting.

The photoshoot served as a tactile exploration of two distinct fabric personalities:

• Percale: Crisp, cool, and matte, ideal for breathable comfort.
• Sateen: Smooth, buttery, and subtly lustrous a touch of quiet luxury.

What Is Long Staple Cotton, and Why Does It Matter?

A long staple fibre in cotton duvet covers and cotton fitted sheets for example refers to individual strands typically measuring over 1 ⅛ inches (about 2.8 cm). The term "staple" is just another way of saying “fibre length.” In the textile world, longer is better, and here’s why:
