Not necessarily. While thread count matters, quality of cotton and weave type are just as important. Our bedding uses long-staple organic cotton in breathable weaves like percale (270TC) and sateen (300TC) to balance softness, strength, and airflow.
Very high thread counts (e.g. 600+) often use thinner or multi-ply yarns, which can trap heat and wear out faster.
A well-made 270–300TC sheet often outperforms higher thread counts in comfort, breathability, and longevity.
